The mesh selection of shaker screen

The mesh size we usually refer to is not the number of sieves on the entire screen.
When we choose to shake the screen, we must first clear what is the material sieve, and then according to the size of the sieve material particles, we can choose to meet the screening needs of the screen. Description of the screen mesh, wire diameter, aperture, diameter, material, effective screen surface and other technical parameters, the length of the unit is usually in millimeters (mm) as the standard.
National standard sieve specifications vary, the commonly used Taylor system is the number of holes per inch long screen number, called the head. The so-called mesh, refers to the material size or roughness, the general definition is in the area of 1 square inch of the number of mesh, that is, the number of mesh mesh. How many mesh can the material pass through the area, that is, how many mesh is defined:
Such as 200 mesh, is that the material can pass through 1 square inch with 200 mesh screens.
Such as 100 mesh, that is, the material can be through 1 square inch with 100 mesh screen.
Such as 50 mesh, that is, the material can be through 1 square inch with 50 mesh screen.
And so on, we can see that the mesh size is inversely proportional to the pore size and particle size, and is proportional to the number of holes. The smaller the number of holes, the smaller the pore size, the smaller the pore size, the smaller the mesh size, the smaller the number of holes, the larger the pore size, indicating the larger the particle size. Therefore, we must select the best screen to meet our work needs for the size of the material we need to filter.
