Reverse osmosis membrane maintenance

With the water treatment equipment in the water treatment industry, a wide range of applications, reverse osmosis membranes are gradually being taken seriously. Reverse osmosis membrane cost is one of consumers most concerned about, good maintenance, help to extend the service life of reverse osmosis membranes.
The new reverse osmosis membrane element is usually infiltrated with 1% NaHSO3 and 18% glycerol in aqueous solution and stored in a sealed plastic bag. In the case of plastic bags are not broken, storage for 1 year or so, it will not affect the reverse osmosis membrane life and performance. When the plastic bag opening, should be used as soon as possible, so as to avoid oxidation of NaHSO3 in the air, the components have a negative impact. Therefore, the membrane should be opened before use.
Equipment test machine finished, we have two ways to protect the reverse osmosis membrane. After 2 ~ 6h operation, use 1% NaHSO3 solution to maintain the RO membrane (the air in the pipeline of the equipment should be exhausted) , To ensure that equipment does not leak, close all the import and export valves). The first method is more costly and can be used for long periods of inactivity. The second method of maintaining the reverse osmosis membrane is used when the idle time is short.
Reverse osmosis membrane of the general cleaning steps
First, the pump will be clean, free chlorine free reverse osmosis water from the cleaning tank (or the corresponding water) into the pressure vessel and discharge a few minutes.
Second, with clean water in the cleaning tank preparation of cleaning fluid.
3. Circulate the cleaning solution in the pressure vessel for 1 hour or a pre-set time.
Fourth, after cleaning is complete, drain the cleaning tank and rinse, and then to the cleaning tank filled with clean water for the next step in the washing process.
5, the pump will be clean, no free chlorine product water from the cleaning tank (or the corresponding water) into the pressure vessel and discharge a few minutes.
6. After flushing the reverse osmosis system, run the reverse osmosis system with the product drain valve open until the product is clean and free of foam or detergent (typically 15 to 30 minutes).
